Docket vs DSQ Hauler for dumpster rental

A source-backed comparison for roll-off operators choosing between a broader waste platform and a focused flat-rate hauler system. Vendor pages checked September 12, 2026.

Short answer

DSQ Hauler is easier to budget before a sales call: the vendor publishes one $99 monthly price for unlimited drivers and a 14-day trial without a credit card. Its public feature set centers on order entry, live dispatch, container inventory, recurring hauls, customer messaging and QuickBooks Online.

Docket covers roll-off, junk removal and recurring commercial or residential trash routes in one platform. Its plans add an online shopping cart, websites, broker leads and, on higher tiers, marketing and fleet integrations. Docket does not publish the subscription amount; it asks operators to schedule a personalized demo.

Do not compare the headline price alone

DSQ Hauler's $99 figure is a published software subscription. Docket's public pricing page lists plan features and payment-processing rates but not the subscription charge. Ask Docket for the complete recurring software cost, onboarding cost, included message volume, payment terms and the price of any route or marketing add-ons. Ask DSQ whether payment processing, implementation or optional services change the $99 base.

Run one operational test

Use the same sample day in both products: accept an online order, reserve a numbered 20-yard container, dispatch a delivery, record the drop location, swap it, attach a photo, add a charge, schedule pickup and issue the invoice. Then add a recurring commercial route. Count every manual re-entry and every step that requires a separate tool.

This test reflects recurring questions from operators comparing scheduling, customer records, routing, billing and dumpster location tracking. Community discussions are used only to identify the decision problem—not as proof that either product performs better.
